Giving his partner a small smile, Ichigo heads off to where everyone is waiting, bracing himself and hoping he doesn't give their little plan away. It's not easy when he keeps getting asked the same question as soon as he steps into the place.]

[He smiles back and waits a moment before entering the bar. Renji was really struggling not to give it away because he was so excited. But everyone was asking the pair of them if they were engaged.

[Ichigo is very, very good at ignoring stares and questions and just goes on pretending that everything is just like usual. No engagement, no special things, just another night at a bar with a bunch of nosy people.

Wait till a few drinks in and that attitude might just change.]

[People do start heading off at least, and Renji, trying not to get too drunk, heads over to Ichigo, and grins.]

[Look, unlike you, Ichigo takes his time with his drinks because he's not a frat boy. Still a lot more tipsy than he thought it would be since everyone had been plying him to get him to talk.]

[The sick thing is a little much mostly because Renji is in a position where he shouldn't be doing that. The other two are far more acceptable, till Renji says that last thing. There's a blush now that Ichigo is going to try and fight.

Never going to admit he likes that sappy stuff. With a huff, he pulls the redhead closer to give him a kiss.]

I know. That's not something I think you could fake.

[He grins and moves to grip onto his hand.]

Now, c'mon... let's go celebrate bein' engaged. Before everyone figures it out.

[Celebrate? Not getting drunk drunk makes a lot more sense now.]
