[He taps a finger against his glass, a rare show of nervousness.
Toushirou evidently looks a little reluctant to reveal what he's thinking, but since they've already made it this far:]
...I do like you. [He confesses, not exactly looking at Renji.] But since this is all new to me, I hope you can manage to be patient with me if you still want to date me after this.
[And he wouldn't blame Renji at all if he decides not to.]
